Through U-People, you will work for an innovative engineering company specializing in electrical systems and services for Marine & Offshore applications. The company delivers complete, customer-specific electrical installations and systems for shipyards in the Netherlands and internationally. Activities include consultancy, system engineering and design, panel building, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance. You will work on international projects where quality, technical craftsmanship and reliable project delivery are central.
Vacancy information
As a Commissioning Engineer Marine & Offshore, you will be responsible for:
- Commissioning control and related electrical installations
- You will analyse and assess the existing situation and adjust systems so that they operate according to the specifications and requirements of the client.
- You will troubleshoot problems identified during the inspection and testing of installations and systems, ensuring technical completeness and reliable operation.
- You will communicate clearly and on time with internal and external clients and, where required, inspection bodies during system acceptance.
- You will be responsible for delivering fully operational systems and for maintaining technical data, drawings, inspection plans, test protocols, specifications and contractual documentation.
- You will also keep revisions up to date and carry out the required registration and reporting activities.

What do you need
- Completed HBO degree in Energy Technology, Electronics or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in commissioning, preferably within the maritime sector.
- Flexible and willing to work at different project locations.
- Strong communication skills, analytical and able to investigate technical issues thoroughly.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to perform offshore work at various project locations.
- High level of awareness regarding health, safety and environmental requirements.
