For a leading organization within the maritime and engineering sector, we are looking for a Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic Hull. Salary up to €6100,- gross per month.

Vacancy information

In this role, you will be responsible for the functional support, configuration and further development of Cadmatic Hull within the engineering organization. You translate the needs of engineers and other users into practical solutions and ensure that applications and processes fit the daily engineering environment.

You will work at the intersection of engineering, software and process optimization, making a direct contribution to the efficiency and quality of engineering projects.

What will you do?
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translate engineering requirements into functional specifications and improvements within Cadmatic Hull.
  • Analyze and resolve functional issues and provide support to PLM/CAD users.
  • Set up and configure project environments, catalogs, libraries, specifications and user access.
  • Manage interfaces between Cadmatic Hull and other applications and collaborate with software suppliers and knowledge partners.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, documentation and user manuals, and support user training.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize engineering processes, applications and functionalities.

What do we offer

  • A salary of up to €6,100 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days based on a full-time employment contract.
  • 8% holiday allowance.
  • €0.23 per kilometre travel allowance.
  • Good pension scheme.
  • Possibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.

What do you need

What do you bring?

  • A completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Shipbuilding or a similar technical field.
  • Experience working with Cadmatic, preferably Cadmatic Hull.
  • Knowledge of engineering processes within shipbuilding or a comparable technical environment.
  • Experience in functional application management is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of PLM and CAD processes.
  • Strong technical skills combined with good communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, IT and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of English; Dutch is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work from Schiedam or Vlissingen.
