Onze opdrachtgever is een middelgrote technische organisatie in de regio Bergen op Zoom die complexe, klantspecifieke machines ontwerpt én in eigen beheer bouwt. Engineering en productie zitten dicht bij elkaar. Mechanical, Electrical en Automation Engineers werken rechtstreeks samen met de werkplaats, waardoor je snel ziet wat jouw ontwerp en software in de praktijk doen.
Vacancy information
Als Software Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de besturingssoftware van klantspecifieke machines en installaties. Je vertaalt technische specificaties naar een functioneel softwareontwerp, programmeert PLC-besturingen en visualisaties en blijft betrokken totdat de machine daadwerkelijk werkt. Dat betekent dat je naast programmeren ook bezig bent met simulatie, testen, troubleshooting en inbedrijfstelling.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:
- Vertaal functionele en technische specificaties naar een softwareontwerp
- Ontwikkel en programmeer PLC-software met moderne besturingsplatformen, zoals CODESYS, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff/TwinCAT, Bachmann of vergelijkbare systemen
- Ontwikkel HMI’s en gebruiksvriendelijke machinevisualisaties
- Voer simulaties, benchtests en functionele testen uit
- Test en stel machines in bedrijf in de eigen werkplaats en incidenteel op locatie bij de klant
- Beheer softwareversies, ontwerpwijzigingen en technische documentatie

What do you need
- MBO+/HBO werk- en denkniveau in Industriële Automatisering, Elektrotechniek, Mechatronica, Software Engineering of vergelijkbaar
- Ervaring als Software Engineer, PLC Engineer of Automation Engineer binnen machinebouw of industriële automatisering
- Ervaring met één of meerdere PLC-platformen, zoals CODESYS, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff/TwinCAT of Bachmann, is een pré
- Ervaring met HMI of machinevisualisaties is een pré
- Je werkt nauwkeurig en denkt in veilige, praktische en betrouwbare oplossingen
