Functie
Due to the continued success and grow we are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer. In this job position you will focus on the design or modification of equipment and heavy machinery. Alongside this, you’ll interact with clients, work closely with colleagues, and keep an eye on project progress. And as a Lead Engineer, you’ll oversee everything from start to finish.
- Leading a small team of Mechanical Engineers
- Conceptual design, Basic and detail engineering
- Creating specifications and reports;
- Preforming strength calculations (Ansys);
- Checking technical drawings;
- Leading the execution of the work.
Voorwaarden
To be successful it is important that you have good communication skills and the willingness to learn and develop yourself professionally. Furthermore you meet the following requirements:
- BSc or MSc Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineer or Naval architecture;
- Excellent problem solving skills;
- Experience with 2D and 3D;
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering experience, predominantly in the maritime sector;
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems in construction and engineering endeavors;
- Proficiency in organizational and project management capabilities;
- Familiarity with marine industry standards and regulatory frameworks;
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working autonomously;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Speaking Dutch is preferred but not necessary
