Function
As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance strategy and execution at a large production site for complex offshore structures, vessels, and machinery. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, plan and coordinate activities, and ensure effective preventive and corrective maintenance. Work closely with Operations, Services, and Engineering departments.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance team and implement the strategic plan.
- Manage the Maintenance Management System for efficient planning and execution.
- Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance per OEM guidelines.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget and approve purchases.
- Select and manage contractors and suppliers.
- Initiate improvement programs for reliability and cost control.
- Report on performance, downtime, and improvement actions.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have the following qualifications and competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance or asset management.
- Experience within large industrial, maritime, or offshore production environments.
- Excellent knowledge of maintenance management systems.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing multicultural teams.
- Strong analytical, decisive, and result-oriented mindset.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
