Electrical Engineer (Minimal €48K/year)

Then we have the perfect position for you. As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the development of advanced ships deployed around the globe.
Function
In this role, you ensure all onboard electrical systems function flawlessly—from power distribution and lighting to critical defense systems. You’ll calculate power balances, determine optimal cable routing, and ensure everything keeps running, even under the toughest conditions.
You’ll work in a modern 3D design environment, following the V-model, and be involved from concept through to realization. Together with colleagues, suppliers, and testers, you’ll deliver reliable and safe electrical solutions that fully meet the requirements.
Your tasks:
- Designing electrical systems and creating corresponding documentation
- Drafting and managing specifications and installation guidelines
- Developing test and validation plans (both digitally and in practice)
- Coordinating and evaluating suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting tender and design processes
- Providing technical support during construction and commissioning
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience designing complex electrical systems
- Experience in shipbuilding is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong team player in multidisciplinary environments
- Good command of English (Dutch is a plus)
- EU nationality required (due to project nature)

- Gross monthly salary starting around €3,800 (depending on experience)
