Electrical Engineer (NavCom)

Function
As an Electrical Engineer (NavCom), you manage the NavCom scope on luxury superyachts. You ensure system design quality, compliance with regulations, and seamless integration while supporting project teams.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead NavCom design for radar, gyrocompass, GMDSS, speed log, echosounder, and more
- Deliver high-quality and timely designs
- Ensure compliance with project specs and maritime regulations
- Review and coordinate supplier technical documentation
- Manage system info in PLM (Teamcenter)
- Write technical specs for RFQs and system integration
- Support design of masts, wheelhouses, and wing stations
- Assist the project leader with daily tasks
Requirements
- MBO (3+ years experience) or HBO-level education
- Basic knowledge of power, automation, and lighting systems
- Understanding of various NavCom systems
- Systematic, assertive, and results-oriented
- Good English, spoken and written
- Experience in ship or yacht building
- Familiar with MS Office, AutoCAD, EPLAN, Teamcenter, Cadmatic, ETAP
