Maintenance Manager / Asset Manager

Function
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance strategy and its execution at a large production and maintenance site for complex offshore structures, vessels, and machinery.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure that all installations, systems, and facilities perform optimally and comply with the highest safety and quality standards.
You will develop and implement maintenance strategies, plan and coordinate all maintenance activities, and ensure that both preventive and corrective maintenance are carried out effectively.
You will work closely with departments such as Operations, Services, and Engineering.
Through your leadership and technical expertise, you will directly contribute to maximum equipment availability and a safe, efficient working environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance team and implement the strategic maintenance plan.
- Manage the Maintenance Management System and ensure efficient planning and execution.
- Supervise safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all maintenance activities.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with OEM guidelines.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget and approve purchases.
- Select and manage contractors and suppliers.
- Initiate improvement programs focused on reliability and cost control.
- Report on performance, downtime, and improvement actions.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have the following qualifications and competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance or asset management.
- Experience within large industrial, maritime, or offshore production environments.
- Excellent knowledge of maintenance management systems.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing multicultural teams.
- Strong analytical, decisive, and result-oriented mindset.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
