Product Engineer

Function
You will develop (complex) parts for various industries. you design the parts, so that they can be mass produced and in series. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice on the production possibilities of (complex) products for clients in the shipbuilding, machine building, offshore and transport sector
- Designing products and supervising from the initial design to the production process of the design. it can be series production and sometimes mass production.
- Developing product specifications and requirements based on international regulations and guidelines in collaboration with clients
- Communicating with clients, colleagues, and production sites to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Analyzing and proactively addressing production issues and implementing solutions
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering with strong interests in production technology
- Interest in developing and designing (complex) technical parts to be produced at the best price and quality
- good communication organizational skills
- knowledge of the metalworking industry
- Excellent command of the English language. Preferably also Dutch and German
