Project Manager Caribbean

Are you ready to lead high-end marine projects in one of the world’s most beautiful yachting destinations?
For a client, we are looking for a Project Manager to oversee refit and repair projects for a diverse fleet of vessels from small sailing yachts to large superyachts in the sunny Caribbean.

Function

As a Marine Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of marine refit and repair projects from quotation and planning to execution and delivery. You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams including hydraulics, rigging, fabrication, painting, and composites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Acting as the main point of contact for clients and subcontractors, you’ll play a key role in guaranteeing smooth operations and exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Marine Refit Projects: Plan and execute complex refit and repair projects for yachts and superyachts.
• Ensure Safety & Quality: Maintain full compliance with HSE standards and deliver world-class craftsmanship.
• Project Planning & Budgeting: Develop detailed project quotations, schedules, and financial reports.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Financial Control: Monitor budgets, track costs, and prepare accurate project invoicing.
• Risk & Compliance: Identify risks, ensure environmental and regulatory compliance, and manage insurance documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-project reviews to drive efficiency and enhance performance

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in marine refit or ship repair project management.
• Strong technical understanding of vessel systems and marine operations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and the MS Office Suite.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to take responsibility.
• Fluency in either English, Dutch, or French (spoken and written).
