Quality Control Inspector

Function

Due to the continued success we are looking for Quality Control Inspector. Your main tasks will be:

• Conduct supplier inspections, both nationally and internationally, according to inspection and test plans.
• Maintain active contact with suppliers and keep project teams informed of progress.
• Ensure compliance with purchase orders for various goods such as construction work, machined steel parts, and other critical offshore parts.
• Inspect product properties and documentation of manufactured parts and constructions according to purchase orders.
• Ensure the quality and progress of incoming goods at the location according to the requirements.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and (measuring) tools.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in inspecting welding, materials, manufacturing, coating, and heavy machinery.
• Affinity with heavy machinery and/or the offshore industry.
• We prefer minimum level 2 for visual welding inspection and level 1 for coating inspection.
• Good knowledge of production processes, manufacturing and coating techniques.
• Proficient in reading, interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with measuring tools (tolerances, alignment, etc).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Familiar with relevant standards, specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Experience with inspection agencies such as Lloyds, BV, and DNV.
• Willingness to travel to various supplier locations worldwide.
