Function
Due to the continued success we are looking for Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer ensures purchased goods and services meet agreed specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include carrying out product inspections both internally and at supplier locations, handling day-to-day quality issues, and leading the order process domestically and internationally. The role involves reviewing quality documents, maintaining a safe work environment, and contributing to the professionalization of the QC department.
Requirements
- BSc in mechanical engineering, welding engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection of welding, materials, fabrication, preservation, and machinery.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is prefered
- Good knowledge of production processes, manufacturing, and coating techniques.
- Familiar with heavy machinery/offshore equipment manufacturing, installation, and commissioning processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications (mechanical, hydraulic)
- Experience with measuring tools and inspection agencies like Lloyds, BV, and DNV.
