Engineer Construction – Superyacht Hull Engineering (€68K/year)
We are looking for an Engineer Construction to join a leading yacht builder and contribute to the design, construction and delivery of the hull of complex luxury vessels.
Function
As an Engineer Construction, you will be a key technical contributor in developing the hull (casco) of superyachts. You will translate the design into detailed engineering, models, and documentation, ensuring that every element meets the highest standards of quality, structural integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and refine detailed engineering designs, structural models, and technical drawings for the hull of the yacht
- Translate conceptual designs into practical, production-ready solutions
- Ensure all technical outputs meet project requirements and production standards
- Guarantee full compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal specifications
- Work closely with Senior Engineers, Project Leads, and Production teams to ensure high-quality delivery
- Provide technical input during production and construction phases
- Support design adjustments, issue resolution, and documentation updates as required
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineer in shipbuilding, preferably with a focus on construction/casco engineering
- Strong understanding of structural design and production techniques
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling software, preferably AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and Siemens NX
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and classification standards
- Fluent in English
