Function

As Project Manager, you are responsible for the full lifecycle of every project, ranging from urgent on-site interventions to multi-year engineering programmes. You do not wait to be briefed. You track progress, flag risks early, and coordinate proactively across engineering, service, and finance. Your projects are successful when the client is satisfied, the schedule is met, and the budget is respected.

Your responsibilities:

  • Set up, steer, and close out projects of varying scale and duration, with clear planning and sharp priorities 
  • Coordinate proactively with engineering, field service technicians, and finance throughout each project 
  • Monitor quality at every stage and act on issues before they escalate 
  • Handle work preparation and purchasing as part of your project remit 
  • Contribute to how the organisation manages project data and systems, an area actively being developed

Requirements

  • BSc degree in maritime engineering, mechanical engineering with a maritime specialisation, or equivalent; project management training is a plus 
  • Results- and service-driven: you work towards outcomes and bring others along with you 
  • Composed under pressure: when things go wrong, you analyse, communicate clearly, and act 
  • Strategic overview combined with operational agility, able to zoom out and zoom in within the same afternoon 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written

Our client is a specialist in propulsion and stability systems for the luxury motor yacht market, designing and building proprietary systems entirely in-house.

Offer

  • A gross annual salary around €72,000, depending on experience
