Document Controller

Function

As a Document Controller, you’ll be responsible for the central registration and management of all drawings and associated documents used in the design of superyachts. Your role will be crucial in maintaining clarity and transparency regarding the status and accessibility of project documentation. By setting up and managing the archive, you’ll contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Specific duties in this role include:

  • Accurately digitize and organize drawings.
  • Administer drawings while adhering to established administrative processes and applying a structured approach.
  • Prioritize and share project-relevant information with project teams, ensuring they have access to essential data.
  • Develop, set up, and manage an efficient archive and archive policy to facilitate easy access to drawings and documentation.
  • Facilitate the distribution of drawings to appropriate contacts.
  • Handle feedback from external parties and link it to relevant drawings for easy reference.
  • Collaborate with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) teams on relevant matters.

Requirements

  • Completion of administrative training.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.
  • Experience with various software systems.
