Function
As Lead Engineer, you’ll be responsible for custom control system designs, including software, system architecture, control panels, and I/O cabinets. You’ll act as the technical lead, translating client requirements into functional specifications and guiding the engineering process.
- Design automation systems for maritime equipment
- Define system architecture, control panels, and I/O cabinets
- Prepare specifications and I/O lists
- Act as technical point of contact for clients and suppliers
- Lead engineers within project teams
- Monitor quality and progress of automation deliverables
- Provide technical advice and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in PLC/SCADA systems and electrical installations
- Skilled in writing specifications and requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Good command of technical English (Dutch is a plus)
- Familiar with industry standards and safety regulations
- Proactive and results-driven mindset

- Gross yearly salary between €75k – €105k
