Outfitting Manufacturing Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who can bring efficiency in the production activities within the construction department for our client, a leading international company in the Shipbuilding sector.


As an Outfitting Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for determining which are the ideal tools and parts are needed for the overall coordination and supervision of the production process.

Specific duties in this role include:

  • Preparing and providing the accurate work instructions for the production team
  • Preparing production drawing and specifications for outsourcing
  • Being responsible for and managing the raw materials orders
  • Monitoring and coordinating the workflow of the structural production process
  • Being in line and coordinating clearly with the organization


  • Professional education (MBO-4) in Mechanical Engineering combined with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Solid experience and understanding in production processes and phases
  • Software skills in 3DX, SAP, Teamcenter and Cadmatic/ Inventor
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken in English and Dutch


Our client is a company active in the shipbuilding industry.


The company offers you all the necessary training to develop yourself. The base salary for this position depends on your experience and capabilities. Furthermore, we provide all assistance to candidates who relocate to the Netherlands.
