Structural Engineer / 3D Modeler

Are you a skilled Structural Engineer with shipbuilding experience? Join a leading Dutch yacht builder and help shape the structure of world-class superyachts.

Function

As Structural Engineer you will work on the 3D modelling and detailing of the yacht’s hull and structure.
You translate design and engineering concepts into accurate, buildable models. Your work directly supports production, so manufacturability and quality are key. You’ll collaborate with other engineers, planners and shipyard teams to keep everything aligned from concept to construction.

Your role will involve:

  • Create and refine 3D models and structural drawings using Siemens NX
  • Check feasibility and manufacturability of your designs
  • Follow Class and Flag requirements and project specifications
  • Solve technical issues during design and construction
  • Work closely with senior engineers, production teams and project leads

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in technical direction
  • At least 2 years of experience in yacht or shipbuilding
  • Good understanding of structural design and construction methods
  • Experience with 3D AutoCAD; Siemens NX, Cadmatic or Teamcenter is a plus
  • Fluent in English
