Cable Installation Engineer

As a Cable Installation Engineer, you will support the tender and project teams by providing engineering expertise related to cable installation activities during both the preparation and execution phases of complex offshore projects. This is a permanent position based in South Holland.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform cable installation analyses to develop safe and efficient installation methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to prepare and review engineering reports, specifications, and calculations related to cable installation.
• Review project specifications and provide engineering comments and technical queries.
• Monitor and support the progress of engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or another relevant engineering discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in the offshore industry, preferably in offshore wind projects.
• Good knowledge of vessel hydrodynamics, mooring systems, vessel stability, and DP systems is considered a strong asset.
• Proven experience using OrcaFlex.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
