Function

As a Commissioning Engineer Marine & Offshore, you will be responsible for:

  • Commissioning control and related electrical installations
  • You will analyse and assess the existing situation and adjust systems so that they operate according to the specifications and requirements of the client.
  • You will troubleshoot problems identified during the inspection and testing of installations and systems, ensuring technical completeness and reliable operation.
  • You will communicate clearly and on time with internal and external clients and, where required, inspection bodies during system acceptance.
  • You will be responsible for delivering fully operational systems and for maintaining technical data, drawings, inspection plans, test protocols, specifications and contractual documentation.
  • You will also keep revisions up to date and carry out the required registration and reporting activities.

Requirements

  • Completed HBO degree in Energy Technology, Electronics or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commissioning, preferably within the maritime sector.
  • Flexible and willing to work at different project locations.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical and able to investigate technical issues thoroughly.
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to perform offshore work at various project locations.
  • High level of awareness regarding health, safety and environmental requirements.
