Industrial Automation Engineer
Are you an Automation Engineer who enjoys developing software for complex technical systems? We are looking for an engineer who wants to work on varied automation projects where software, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering come together.
Function
As an Automation Engineer, you will develop and improve control software for technically complex installations.
You will be involved in different phases of the project, from engineering and programming to testing and implementation.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and modify PLC software
- Configure SCADA and HMI applications
- Translate functional requirements into control solutions
- Integrate software with technical systems and equipment
- Perform software testing and troubleshooting
- Support functional and system testing
- Maintain technical and software documentation
- Work closely with engineers from different technical disciplines
- Support implementation and commissioning when required
Requirements
You have a technical mindset and enjoy solving automation challenges in a project-based environment.
Furthermore, you have:
- HBO working and thinking level in a relevant technical field
- Experience with PLC programming
- Knowledge of SCADA and/or HMI systems
- Experience within industrial automation or control engineering
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good command of English
Experience with complex machinery, installations or multidisciplinary engineering projects is an advantage.
