Senior Structural Engineer

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be involved in technically demanding projects across the maritime sector, including offshore energy structures and specialized vessels. You will operate at the intersection of design and engineering, ensuring that complex concepts are translated into robust and buildable solutions.

You will interpret client requirements and convert them into clear technical specifications and efficient designs. You will also take on a coordinating role, working closely with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.

Specific duties in this role include:

• Interpreting client requirements and translating them into structural designs and technical specifications.
• Contributing to concept and basic design phases of complex maritime projects.
• Providing technical coordination across different disciplines within projects.
• Maintaining effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensuring that designs meet quality standards and are practical for production.
• Supporting projects throughout all stages, from initial studies to detailed engineering and shipyard support.

• A BSc or MSc degree Maritime Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in concept and basic design.
• Interest in working on a variety of maritime projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical approach.
• Good communication skills in English and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic project environment.
