Function
As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing propulsion systems, mainly for yachts, and further developing existing designs. You’ll work closely with an experienced colleague and contribute to product improvements and standardization. Additionally, you’ll support colleagues from Purchasing, Project Management, and Service with technical questions related to the propulsion systems.
Specific tasks in this role include:
- Designing propulsion systems for the shipbuilding industry.
- Performing the necessary calculations.
- Developing initial designs into production drawings.
- Carrying out all related technical and administrative tasks.
Requirements
You’re a suitable candidate if you recognize yourself in the following:
- You have work experience in shipbuilding or maritime engineering.
- You have knowledge of production techniques.
- You are familiar with 3D design software (experience with Solid Edge is a plus).
- You have a good command of Dutch and English.

You’ll be joining a company that designs, builds, and sells propulsion systems for the maritime industry, with a strong focus on the yacht sector. In addition to new builds, the company also provides service and maintenance for existing systems—Service Engineers travel all over the world to do this.

Offer
- Salary between €2,800 and €5,000 gross per month.
