Electrical Engineer

Function

Our client specializes in the construction of exceptionally luxurious yachts, each uniquely designed and built to the exact specifications of their future owners. To enhance their Engineering team, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer.

Specific duties of this role:

  • Develop detailed electrical engineering plans for various installations on board luxury yachts.
  • Work on multiple new construction and refit projects simultaneously.
  • Design and manage lighting systems, including mood lighting, underwater lighting, and emergency lighting.
  • Handle other electrical components such as antenna plans, electrical cabinets, and cable routing.
  • Create and analyze detailed drawings, ensuring timely and accurate information flow between disciplines.
  • Coordinate adjustments and verify changes across different departments, including interior and mechanical engineering.
  • Serve as a key information source for colleagues and subcontractors.
  • Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks, proposing effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Completed technical MBO training.
  • Affinity with luxury yacht or interior construction.
  • Proficiency in Office and AutoCAD; experience with 3D engineering is a plus.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
