Service Technician – Marine Systems

Do you want to work on electrical installations on impressive naval vessels and troubleshoot where technology really counts?

As a service technician you will:

• Ensure that electrical installations on board naval vessels and others continue to function reliably and optimally
• You work independently as well as with colleagues on maintenance, service, and troubleshooting — at unique locations in the maritime sector
• You dive into complex issues and malfunctions in electronic and control systems on board naval vessels, among others
• With your technical knowledge, you ensure that everything runs smoothly again, using an approach that is safe, well-thought-out, and solution-oriented.

What exactly you do:

• Locating and resolving electrical faults
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installations
• Perform measurements and check installations
• Report on progress and work performed
• Maintain customer contact regarding the status and next steps

You are a skilled professional with a practical mindset and an eye for quality. You love technology, enjoy thinking in solutions, and are confident—both with clients and on board. Additionally, obtaining a Certificate of Conduct is no problem for you.

• An MBO diploma in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
• Experience with electrical systems in a maritime environment
• Communicatively skilled (Dutch and English)
• Independent and team-oriented
