Do you make sure technicians and mechanics can start their work fully prepared? As a Technical Work Planner, you organise everything needed for smooth execution: from work packages, drawings and materials to planning, suppliers and technical documentation.
Function
As a Technical Work Planner, you translate technical work orders into clear and executable work packages. You coordinate planning, materials, documentation, suppliers and external services, ensuring that mechanics and service technicians can start their work fully prepared.
Your responsibilities:
- Translate technical work orders into complete and executable work packages
- Plan activities and monitor materials, capacity and the deployment of external parties
- Collect and check drawings, schematics, bills of materials and technical documentation
- Request materials, quotations and services and monitor delivery times
- Coordinate changes and outstanding actions with engineering, workshop and service teams
- Identify potential bottlenecks and make sure work can start properly prepared
Requirements
- MBO+/HBO level in a technical field
- Experience in work preparation, planning or technical project coordination
- Able to read technical drawings, schematics and work orders and translate them into practical execution
- Structured way of working, able to maintain overview and communicate easily with engineering and execution teams
- Living in the Bergen op Zoom region
