Project Engineer (yachtbuilding)

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the engineering scope of custom-designed yacht equipment projects. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will oversee project planning, budgets, technical coordination, and communication with both internal stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the engineering scope of yacht equipment projects. 
• Assess client specifications and technical requirements for feasibility. 
• Develop and maintain realistic project budgets and engineering schedules. 
• Coordinate project priorities in collaboration with fellow Project Engineers and engineering leaders. 
• Provide operational guidance and support to internal and external engineering teams. 
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and engineering deliverables. 
• Ensure engineering packages meet client requirements, technical standards, and quality expectations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar engineering or project management role. 
• Experience in yacht building, the maritime industry or mechanical engineering is strongly preferred. 
• Knowledge of 3D CAD design software.
• Project coordination, planning, and organizational skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.
