Project Engineer Routing & Arrangements (€87K/year)
Are you ready to bring your engineering expertise on board? We are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer who will support the implementation of routing and arrangements during the construction of world-class superyachts..
Functie
As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for the correct implementation of routing and general arrangements on board. From system corridors to equipment positioning, you ensure that everything fits, functions, and flows in line with design and construction planning.
You work closely with engineers, contractors, and onboard teams to translate designs into reality and resolve practical challenges along the way.
Your role will involve:
- Reviewing and applying arrangement drawings and routing layouts during construction
- Ensuring correct system positioning and spatial integration on board
- Coordinating with piping, HVAC, electrical, and interior teams to avoid conflicts
- Acting as a technical point of contact for production and engineering
- Monitoring progress and quality during installation
- Supporting as-built updates and technical documentation
- Liaising with the owner’s team and other stakeholders during the build phase
Voorwaarden
- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipbuilding or yacht construction
- Practical knowledge of routing, arrangements, and shipyard processes
- Strong communication skills, proactive attitude and willingness to take the lead in your discipline.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Teamcenter, or Cadmatic is a plus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
