Quality Controller (€69K/year)
Do you have experience in quality control and want to make an impact on the standards of high-end yacht construction? We are looking for a Quality Controller to monitor and secure production quality at supplier locations.
Functie
In this role, you perform on-site quality inspections during the hull (casco) phase at subcontractor locations. You act as the eyes and ears of the project’s quality team and ensure all work meets the required specifications and standards.
- Perform and record quality inspections during intermediate and final control stages
- Ensure all measurements and findings are properly documented in digital systems
- Review and update quality documentation, procedures, and instructions
- Align with project managers, supervisors, and QA colleagues on inspection outcomes
- Advise suppliers on compliance and support continuous quality improvement
- Represent the yard professionally at external locations and ensure safety compliance
Voorwaarden
- Strong experience with quality control in steel construction or shipbuilding (hull phase)
- Able to read technical drawings and work with inspection tools
- Knowledge of applicable safety and quality regulations
- Solid communication skills in Dutch and English
- Self-reliant and hands-on, you’ll work solo at supplier sites
- Willingness to travel frequently to yards and supplier locations within the Netherlands
