Functie
- Develop hydraulic systems from concept to detailed design
- Define technical specifications and interface requirements (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
- Perform calculations involving fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and kinematics
- Select key system components (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, filters, accumulators, sensors)
- Prepare documentation: schematics, test protocols (FAT/HAT/SAT), manuals, FMECA reports
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, suppliers, and clients
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning
Voorwaarden
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 10+ years of experience designing hydraulic systems, ideally in maritime or motion & control industries
- Skilled in schematic design, system modeling, and component selection
- Proficient in design tools, calculation software, and PDM/ERP systems
- Structured, analytical, and communicative (Dutch and English)
