Works Manager (offshore projects)

Functie
As a Works Manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of offshore installation works on site. You will focus on the overall project execution, while site superintendents manage day-to-day activities. Supported by a team of superintendents and project engineers, you report directly to the Project Manager and play a key role in the successful delivery of large offshore installation projects.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Organizing and maintaining the planning of offshore works on site.
- Focusing on the optimization and efficient execution of project activities.
- Managing and coordinating operational staff in collaboration with site superintendents and project engineers.
- Ensuring client requirements, both internal and external, are met throughout the project.
- Monitoring project progress to ensure delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Managing and enforcing QHSE-S standards across all site activities.
- Identifying risks and implementing solutions to support efficient project realization.
- Acting as a key interface between site teams and the project management organization.
Voorwaarden
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in construction, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in complex offshore engineering and installation projects.
- Strong operational and engineering background with a hands-on mentality.
- Ability to work autonomously with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with a strong focus on teamwork.
- Willingness to work abroad on offshore projects for extended periods.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
