Functie
We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer with experience in shipbuilding or heavy marine equipment to take ownership of mechanical systems in complex maritime projects. In this role, you will help shape technical solutions and lead a small team to ensure high-quality engineering delivery.
- Leading engineers.
- Assessing feasibility, planning, and budget.
- Supporting design, production, and aftersales.
- Solving technical issues and improving processes.
- Reviewing client specifications, risks, and documentation.
- Defining Machinery & Piping scope and managing outsourced work.
Voorwaarden
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role within engineering or shipbuilding.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
