Operational Buyer
Are you passionate about the maritime industry? We are seeking an Operational Buyer in Yacht Construction to join the team of our client.
Functie
As a crucial member of the team, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers to ensure luxury yacht projects meet top standards. Bring your drive for improvement and efficiency to their team and be part of realization of dream yachts.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement of various materials and semi-finished products, particularly for the interior/exterior product groups such as exclusive wood types, stainless steel, and glass.
- Advising and selecting suppliers to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
- Negotiating terms and conditions.
- Efficiently managing administrative tasks associated with purchasing activities
- Monitorying delivery timelines.
Voorwaarden
- Completion of MBO education.
- Enthusiastic with excellent communication skills and a commercial, analytical mindset.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and demonstrate proactive initiative.
- Completion of Nevi 1 certification or willingness to pursue it.
- Knowledge and/or affinity with technology.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
- Availability for 32 to 40 hours per week.
