Project Engineer HVAC systems (€87K/year)
Are you ready to contribute your HVAC expertise to the construction of world-class superyachts? We are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer who will support the implementation of HVAC systems during the yacht building phase.
Function
As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for the practical application of HVAC diagrams during the build. You work closely with engineers, contractors, and onboard teams to ensure the systems are installed as per design and function as intended.
Your role will involve:
- Interpret HVAC diagrams and ensure correct application during construction
- Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including the owner’s team
- Provide technical support to contractors and solve issues on site
- Coordinate with other disciplines (piping, electrical, outfitting, interior) to avoid conflicts
- Monitor installation progress and perform quality checks
- Support testing, commissioning, and final technical documentation
- Process technical deviations and update diagrams if needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipbuilding or yacht construction
- Practical knowledge of HVAC systems and shipyard processes
- Strong communication skills, proactive attitude and willingness to take the lead in your discipline.
- Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Teamcenter, or Cadmatic is a plus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
