Area Coordinator

Function
As an Area Coordinator, you’ll report to the Project Manager overseeing refits. Your role is essential – you’ll coordinate different tasks on projects like refits, maintenance, and warranty work for specific yachts. Your goal is to ensure everything happens according to the plan and meets the specifications.
You’ll be the bridge between different teams, making sure they work together smoothly. You’ll also handle documentation and keep everyone on the same page. Beyond coordination, you’ll be an advisor on operational decisions and financial matters.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in shipbuilding, preferably in yachts, in a coordinating or managerial role.
- Technical education (BSc) in ship or mechanical engineering.
- Understanding of engineering and production processes in shipbuilding.
- Knowledge of logistics and how things work operationally.
- Experience working on projects.
- Familiarity with engineering software.
- Good English skills; Dutch is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
