ILS Engineer (interim / temporary position)

Function
In general, ILS plans and directs the identification and development of logistics support and system requirements for (military) systems. The goal is to create systems that last longer and require less support, thereby reducing costs and increasing return on investments. The impact of ILS is often measured in terms of reliability, availability, maintainability and testability (RAMT), and sometimes System Safety (RAMS).
In this position, you will work on projects related to the ILS scope and services for naval ships. Work on ILS products includes purchase support, maintenance (including RAM and LCC calculations), supply support, documentation and training. This position is based in Rotterdam.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Studying and reporting the reliability and maintainability of naval equipment.
- Performing ILS analysis.
- Preparing ILS training material for technical equipment.
- Working together with other technical departments and the Purchasing department.
- Delivering ILS products within time and budget.
Requirements
As an ideal candidate you have experience in shipbuilding and you have solid technical knowledge of ship equipment. In addition, you meet the following requirements:
- Having experience in ILS/maintenance projects.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Good command of the English and Dutch language.

Project-based position for the duration of 1 year (can be extended). The company offers you all necessary trainings to develop yourself along with 38 holiday days per year. The base salary for this position depends on your experience and capabilities. Furthermore, we provide all assistance to candidates who relocate to the Netherlands.
