Manufacturing Engineer Structures

Function

As a Manufacturing Engineer Structures, you will play a key role in making the structural parts production more efficient and effective. Your main tasks will include analysing equipment layout, workflow, and assembly methods, as well as determining the necessary parts and tools.

Specific duties in this role include:

• Create detailed instructions for production employees.
• Track and manage materials to ensure accurate inventory.
• Prepare and update drawings to guide manufacturing.
• Develop specifications for outsourced tasks.
• Implement quality controls as per the test and inspection plan.
• Control and optimize the production workflow

Requirements

For the Manufacturing Engineer Structures, we are looking for candidates with previous experience in planning and monitoring within the manufacturing environment, in shipbuilding or ship repair industry.

• Professional education (vocational/bachelor level) preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficiency in production, engineering, and design software such as SAP, 3DX, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic/ Inventor.
• Strong command of both English and Dutch, both written and oral.

Offer
