Function
As a Marine Engineer you are busy with the theoretical naval design in various sub-areas. You work together and support Naval Architects and you have experience in setting up, calculating and elaborating ship design.
Specific tasks in this role:
- Weight, stability (including slope tests), resistance and propulsion;
- Comfort, maneuverability, noise and vibration;
- Line plans hull;
- You are in constant contact with the Naval Architects for the exchange of information, coordination and consultation regarding the design;
- Checking whether the information is accurate and making a critical analysis with regard to the feasibility and feasibility of the design.
Requirements
- At least BSc in Naval Architecture;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ship/yacht building;
- Experience with 2D and 3D modelling;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong in planning & organizing.
