Senior Project Planning Coordinator Production – Project Based
Are you a seasoned professional in project planning, looking for an exciting opportunity? A leading marine shipbuilding company with establishments in Germany and The Netherlands, is currently looking for an Interim Senior Project Planning Coordinator Production.
Function
As the Senior Project Planning Coordinator Production (Project Based), you will assume responsibility for planning, reviewing progress, and ensuring follow-up on our new build frigates for the German Navy. You will also incorporate subcontractor information into shipbuilding plans, assess progress on board, and identify and address bottlenecks and planning issues. This position is based in Germany, with occasional work trips.
Specific duties in this role include:
• Assuming ownership of the planning, progress review, and follow-up tasks for this extensive marine shipbuilding project.
• Incorporating subcontractor information into the shipbuilding planning process and conducting progress reviews on board.
• Proactively identifying bottlenecks and addressing potential planning issues.
• Creating and integrating STW, HAT, and SAT schedules for combat systems.
• Collaborating with colleagues across various locations including Hamburg, Kiel, Wolgast, and The Netherlands.
Requirements
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, accompanied by a minimum of five years of experience in planning large and complex projects, preferably within the shipbuilding or similar industries.
• Proficiency in planning applications like MS Project or Primavera is desired, or a willingness to acquire proficiency in these tools.
• Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
• Ideally based in northern Germany.
