Function

Due to the continued success and grow we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer. In this job position you will focus on the design or modification of equipment and systems. In addition, you will work as Engineer according to customer requirements, classification rules, technical specs, and guidelines in order to contribute to efficient production and to ensure the quality, safety, sustainability and efficiency of equipment.

• Conceptual design;
• Basic and detail engineering;
• Creating specifications and reports;
• Preforming strength calculations;
• Checking technical drawings;
• Leading the execution of the work.

Requirements

To be successful it is important that you have good communication skills and the willingness to learn and develop yourself professionally. Furthermore you meet the following requirements:

• BSc or MSc Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineer or Naval architecture;
• Excellent problem solving skills;
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience gained in heavy machinery, crane building or shipbuilding industry;
• Experience with 2D and 3D;
• Excellent communication skills in English;
• Speaking Dutch is preferred but not necessary.
