Function
Due to the continued success we are looking for a PLC / SCADA Engineer. In this job position you will focus on the design, construction and testing of software, and production of documentation for PLC, HMI’s and SCADA systems. In addition, your work will involve drawing up Design Specifications in addition to the Functional Specification. You will also set up the overall system configuration and testing the software using a simulator. Part of your role may involve working on board of the vessel during installation and handover to the customer.
Requirements
To be successful it is important that you have good communication skills and the willingness to learn and develop yourself professionally. Furthermore you meet the following requirements:
- An ability to think and work at a higher professional (HBO) level.
- Demonstrable experience with and/or affinity for measuring and control technology, and process automation. Experience with designing, programming and coding PLCs (Rockwell/ Bachmann) and knowledge of SCADA (Cimplicity or Atvise).
- Knowledge of process management systems.
- The ability to read Functional Specifications and drawings (electric, pneumatic and hydraulic).
- Working in a project team.
- Analytical ability and can show initiative.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
